Signe Sophus Lai and Sofie Flensburg (CTS) are part of a new Carlsberg Research grant
Signe Sophus Lai and Sofie Flensburg from the Center for Tracking and Society are part of a new Carlsberg Research Communication grant for the project SKYEN FINDES IKKE (There is no cloud).
The project conveys research on the internet’s infrastructure and its impact on democracy, the economy, and the climate. Through a six-episode web series and nationwide debate events, the project creates a framework for a broad public conversation about how this infrastructure shapes our society and shared future. The first two episodes will premiere at CPH:DOX in March 2027 as part of the DOX:DANMARK initiative, reaching 50 municipalities across Denmark. Subsequent episodes will be released every two months on Politiken’s website, freely accessible to all. The project will be linked to the BLOOM science festival with debate events where researchers and experts delve into the issues raised by the series.
